Cape Fear Solar Systems, LLC has entered into a partnership with Koolbridge Solar, Inc. to support their Koolbridge Solar Smart Load Center™ product development team with our solar expertise.
“While we continue to focus on design and installation of solar systems on North Carolina’s homes and businesses, we are excited to take a part in this exciting product working alongside the Koolbridge Solar Leadership Team,” says Linda Hanykova, vice president of Cape Fear Solar.
Solar is a Smart Investment
Koolbridge Solar’s primary market focus is on the new residential sector, where over 90,000 new homes a month are projected. Builders and homeowners alike are demanding increased efficiencies and economic value. HUD forecasts new home growth in the United States will average 100,000 per month during this decade. With these new homes, 15% are installing solar systems. Additionally, 85% (918,000) new non-solar built homes can become Solar Ready and have access to energy utilization data. There are approximately 132 million existing homes in the United States that are potential Solar Ready customers. By readying new homes for future solar panel installation or battery backup, the growth potential for investors and the Company is enormous, as is the market for upgrading existing homes.

Koolbridge Solar Smart Load Center™
The Smart Load Center is a solar AND utility energy breaker box (panel box) which can automatically select the use of utility power or solar-derived power independently for each of a number of load circuits based on smart algorithms. The automatic selection of power uses a microcontroller to control the dynamic switching of each breaker and are based on availability of utility and solar power, preset user priorities, battery charge status, time of day, instantaneous consumption, historical consumption patterns, and weather forecasts.
