A Little Bit About Myself
My name is Dar Hubsch. Originally from Massachusetts, I first visited North Carolina's coast as a professional SCUBA instructor in 2016. I fell in love with these waters and moved here in 2021, hoping to use my experience in the solar industry to empower the Cape Fear region. I consider it a privilege to help Cape Fear Solar’s residents establish a sustainable and energy independent future for their families and communities.
When I'm not working, I can be found exploring the shipwrecks of the Graveyard at the Atlantic, or planning my next culinary adventure. I am a NABCEP® certified PV Technical Sales Professional (#TS-042523-013639) and an FAA licensed drone pilot.

The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners® (NABCEP®) certification is the most respected, well-established and widely recognized certification organization for professionals in the field of renewable energy. To earn my PV Technical Sales Professional certification, I had to have a proven and extensive track record of selling photovoltaic systems and pass a grueling exam.
