2019 is the last year for the full 30 percent Federal Tax Credit for solar installations so there is no better time to go solar than now. The Federal Solar Tax Credit, also referred to as the Investment Tax Credit (ITC), allows solar customers to deduct 30 percent of the cost of installing a solar energy system from their federal taxes. The tax credit applies for residential and commercial solar panels. There is no cap on the value.
