Having experienced numerous storms throughout our 17 years of business in Wilmington, North Carolina, our team at Cape Fear Solar Systems is deeply saddened to hear about the devastation being faced by our western neighbors. We know the path to rebuilding is long, but, as always, North Carolinians stand together when faced with adversity. It’s inspiring to see all our coastal neighbors who have responded to this need, and we encourage everyone to do what they can to provide support. It wasn’t too long ago that our own community needed help after Hurricane Florence.
To support the recovery efforts in western North Carolina, Cape Fear Solar Systems has donated $5,000 to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund. This contribution will help provide for the immediate, unmet needs of many individuals and families who have lost everything in this storm. Of course, the needs of those impacted remain considerable.
How You Can Support the Relief Efforts
We ask that you consider joining us in aiding those impacted by Hurricane Helene by donating or volunteering. Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a significant difference in helping these communities get back on their feet, and every hour of manpower could quite literally mean a difference between life or death.
There are several organizations mobilizing to provide relief. Please visit the websites of the NC Commission on Volunteerism & Community Service or the NC Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster to explore volunteer opportunities with the many organizations stepping up for those in need.
